Developing Rebound and Rudimental Concepts

This third pack continues the explanation of the development of control and rebound with each grip, mainly through the application of double strokes and the accented upstroke. Rudimental phrases to develop the grips are also introduced.

Stickings, Rudiments, and Moeller Motions

This fifth pack deals with several concepts. Steve teaches an interesting two-note concept on the bass drum and provides musical phrases for it; the Moeller motion is explained and demonstrated; and several more rudiments are discussed and played.

Paradiddle Variations

This fourth pack introduces several more rudimental concepts to enhance development of the hands and grips. Key concepts are applying a swing feel to the rudiments and splitting the rudiments between hands and feet (snare and bass drum).

Rudimental Combinations

This sixth and final pack presents a wealth of challenging rudimental stickings and phrases that will push the development of your technique. Concepts include different accent variations for several rudiments, plus a polyrhythmic concept: applying a 3-note sticking within a 4-note rhythm.
